With the Football Season starting to come to an end, many are looking to play Futsal over the summer.

There are several options, and as a Football Qld Affiliate Club, we would encourage any one looking to form teams to stay fit in the off season and play socially to look at playing at a Football Qld Affiliated Centre or Club.

RIVER CITY FUTSAL – MANSFIELD

Players seeking to get involved with a Futsal Club (as opposed to social futsal) where they offer training and games, then we would recommend our Futsal Partner, River City Futsal who provide structured training programs and teams play in Football Qld Leagues and Tournaments. River City Futsal are based at Mansfield State High School.

CHANDLER FUTSAL LEAGUE – CHANDLER
Chandler Futsal  League is played in the state of the art Anna Meares Velodrome at the Chandler Sports Complex.

SUPER FUTSAL – CARINA & ACACIA RIDGE
Super Futsal who are located at Carina and Acacia Ridge are another Football Qld Affiliated Futsal Club and they have social competitions as well.

CRAFT FUTBOL – COMSLIE
Craft Futbol runs Futsal Competitions out of the State Hockey Centre at Comslie.

It is recommended that if you are going to play Futsal that you play at a Football Qld Affiliated Centre as all players will be covered by player insurance and members are protected under Football Australia’s Member Protection Policy.

MT GRAVATT FUTSAL – HIBISCUS
It is run by an private organisation masquerading  to be a non for profit organisation and governing body of Futsal in Australia (Australian Futsal Association) that runs a competition across the road at the Hibiscus Centre.


Parents and players are advised to be aware that they are a privately owned, and they are not a recognised Sporting Organisation and have had numerous non-compliances with Sport Australia, Australia’s National Sporting Body, Qld Civil Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) and the Office of Fair Trading  with respect to promoting teams to be representing Regions, Queensland and Australian Teams – this selections and representations ARE NOT recognised by any government sporting body!
